The Alliance recently partnered with Ovation TV to create a Public Service Announcement featuring interviews with Scholastic Award winners. With a mission to "Make Life Creative," Ovation TV is a multi-platform network with a focus on "entertaining, inspiring and engaging the artist in all of us." On April 17, Ovation TV sent a camera crew to capture the stories of twelve New York City Gold Key winners at Radiant Minds, the local exhibition and awards ceremony at the Brooklyn Museum. This PSA is part of an Ovation TV campaign called "Every Big Artist Starts Small." Click PLAY to watch the PSA.

The Alliance celebrated the Awards' 85th Anniversary. Over 500 award recipients
participated, with guest speakers such as actress Kathy Bates, alums Philip
Pearlstein, Joyce Maynard, performances by the Harlem School of the Arts and
